Hanson Police Department Investigating Vandalism to Indian Head School

HANSON — Chief Michael Miksch reports that the Hanson Police Department is investigating an incident where a person broke multiple windows at the Indian Head School last week and is seeking today to identify a person of interest.

On Friday afternoon, June 14, police received a report of several broken windows discovered at the Indian Head School, 720 Indian Head St.

Upon reviewing the video surveillance footage from the school, at approximately 3 p.m. June 14, a white Chevy sedan was observed pulling into the parking lot of the school and then leaving a short time later.

A school employee found the windows broken a short time after that. The estimated cost of the damage to the windows is in excess of $5,000.

The Hanson Police would like to speak to the owner and/or operator of the white Chevy sedan.
